Mysuru Civic Leadership Program (MCLP)

MCLIP is a non-partisan, citizen-driven initiative in Mysuru to transform how the city is governed and how citizens engage with it.

 

Our goals are threefold:

First, to bring more women, young people, and first-time political aspirants committed to clean, efficient, corruption-free governance into local elections—and equip them with the training, mentorship and support they need to win.

 

Second, to unify like-minded active citizens, RWAs, NGOs, and civic groups in Mysuru so that our collective voice becomes stronger and more coordinated.

 

Third, to run a structured, citizen-driven governance ecosystem—through ward committees, community audits, and data-driven monitoring—to augment and strengthen MCC’s work by making local governance more transparent and accountable.

In short, we’re building new leaders, empowering citizens, and creating a model of governance where people don’t just vote—they actively shape how their city is run.
