Eligibility Criteria

• Students residing in Mysuru district, aged 17-25, from families with annual income below INR 2.5 lakhs.

• Minimum 60% marks in Class 10 for PUC applicants or Class 12 for Degree applicants.

• Enrolment in Government educational institutions in Mysuru district for specified courses.

• Priority for first-generation learners; committment to minimum of 75% attendance

• Has not availed any other scholarships

 

Documents to be Submitted

• Proof of residence (Aadhaar, ration card).

• Income certificate (family income < INR 2.5 lakhs).

• Marksheets (Class 10/12/previous year)

• Admission letter from the college for the specified course.

• Self-declaration on first-generation status

• Self-declaration on not availing other scholarships

• Passport photo

 

Selection Process

A committee evaluates applications based on 40% financial need, 40% academic merit, 20% interview and priority factors. Shortlisting takes place within 30 days of the application deadline. The merit list is published transparently. Selected candidates sign commitment agreements.

 

Monitoring and Follow-up

Quarterly progress reports on attendance (minimum 75%), GPA, and fee receipts are required. Quarterly mentorship calls are conducted. Annual (or semester wise) reviews by mentors and field visits for verification are conducted. Sponsorship continues only upon satisfactory performance. Sponsorship will not continue for subsequent year if the student has backlogs.

 

Giving Back

• After course completion, beneficiaries commit to 100 hours of social work, such as tutoring underprivileged girls or volunteering at Gubbivani Trust.

• Success stories/experience to be shared for program promotion

• Alumni network will mentor new scholars when requested
